Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra tied the knot in 2009 and are parents to two adorable kids son Viaan, and daughter Samisha. In 2021, the couple braved the tough controversy of Raj being embroiled in a controversy.
Recently, the actress shared that she and Raj are soulmates and were always meant to be together. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Shilpa highlighted the importance of friendship for all women in their marriages because she felt it is important to have friendship in a marriage. The actress also shared insights about her childhood, explaining that because both her parents worked, she didn’t have the opportunity to spend much time with them.
On the work front, Shilpa will be next seen in the upcoming film ‘Sukhee’ which is all set to hit the theatres on September 22. The movie marks the directorial debut of Sonal Joshi and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra and Shikhaa Sharma. It also stars Kusha Kapila, Dilnaz Irani, Pavleen Gujral, Chaitannya Choudhry and Amit Sadh.
Apart from this, Shilpa will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s OTT debut ‘Indian Police Force’, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. The series will stream on the OTT platform. The actress will also act in ‘KD-The Devil’ as Satyavati alongside V Ravichandran, and Sanjay Dutt. The pan-India multilingual will be released in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Speaking about her three-decade-long journey in front of the camera, Shilpa had shared, “I feel there is poetic justice in life, always. I was never in the top 10 actors (list). I may have received a lot of love and adulation but never counted in the top 10 actors – maybe lack of opportunity, or what I don’t know. Today look at me I am doing the biggest series, I have just finished filming a movie, I am doing a multilingual movie, I have nothing to complain about today. We all have our journey, I have carved a niche on TV, my brands are doing well.”
